The month of October saw a series of company visits, workshop and training for GPIoS participants. So far around 70+ companies are being treated by the project. The batch 1 and batch 2 companies which began in June and July / August 2010 have already undergone 3 basic workshops on Cleaner Production, Material Flow Analysis, Team Building, Creativity and Innovation, Eco-Friendly Purchasing, Waste Management, HazMat and Energy Analysis. Batch 3 companies are now on the same track. The club companies were given training on the topics of rain water harvesting by Mr. Pavel, a senior consultant of GPIoS.
In addition to this, the reports were presented to the participants who stated early in the project, while the new ones are being assessed for potentials.
With more and more companies coming on board, with more solutions presented to companies and with trainings and workshop conducted to capacitate the participants, the GPIoS Team indeed had its Oktoberfest!!
