The 6th and concluding workshop for batch 9 included presentations on the legal framework of national environmental laws in the Philippines, such as the Clean Water Act (RA 9275), Philippine Clean Air Act (RA 8749), Ecological Solid Waste Management (RA 9003) and Toxic Substances and Hazardous Waste (RA 6969). Representatives of the DENR and external specialists together with the GPIoS team lead the 30 participants through this one day event at the Berjaya Hotel in Makati.

With further guidance by the consultants of the GPIoS team, the participating companies are now in their final stage of transforming their entities into greener businesses in order to be eligible for the ECOSWITCH certification in the last quarter of 2013.
