An 8-member team left to Austria on the 24th of May 2010 to attend training in ECOPROFIT approach. The team will be trained on topics such as cleaner production and continuous improvement, waste management and material flow analysis, energy conservation, laws and regulations and innovation and creativity techniques, ecological purchasing, handling with hazardous material, eco-controlling and eco-indicators, environmental reporting and project management etc.
This 2-week training program will include
- Seminars at the ECOPROFIT Academy
- Formulation of a practical implementation concept
- Presentation and certification
In addition to these, they will also visit companies that have benefited by ECOPROFIT concept.
The team will be an integral part of the GPIoS Training Center. This team will not only train the companies participating in the GPIoS initiative but also will train the other trainers in the GPIoS Training Center on ECOPROFIT approach.
