HAVI Logistics, a multi-national global lead logistics provider, one of the participating phase 2 companies aims to widen the Sustainable Mindset across its employees through the ECOSWITCH approach. Therefore, Havi W.I.S.E. Program – Workers Initiative to Save and Economize was launched last April 3, 2012 in Sumulong Highway, Marikina City.
Mr. Joshua Rey Albarina, one of the technical consultants of ECOSWITCH was invited as the main speaker. Mr. Albarina started with a video presentation which provides awareness on environmental advocacy and explained the simple good housekeeping actions that can easily be adapted by everyone.
HAVI Logistics aims to create a stance that introduces environmental initiative at a personal level, wherein employees are encouraged to “think global and act local”. Every small action contributes to a bigger cause to the planet as a whole.
