Moving up the ladder towards Sustainable Enterprise
With the success of the 72 companies during the Project’s first phase, driving organizations to move up the Sustainability ladder has just started as they embark on the project’s ECOSWITCH Club program, which showcases a set of workshops and ‘level-up’ consulting activities to strengthen further their existing programs in resource efficiency, energy consumption and greening their supply chains.
After a series of information gathering and internal team discussions, the ECOSWITCH team is pleased to deliver the second set of Club workshops, which are slated to run in the first half of May.
The three workshop topics enable involvement across all management levels, beginning with:
Energy Management and Efficiency Techniques, which covers a discussion on today’s approach on Energy Management Systems and efficiency practices coupled with tools and metrics to aid practitioners in the course of achieving energy efficiency targets.
Carbon Footprint Calculations and Techniques, which is an appreciation course about its fundamentals and concepts of carbon inventory, and
Life Cycle Analysis and Eco-design, where the life cycle framework and the challenge to “loop in” waste and excess materials through creative means within their processes, which in turn reduces costs and gain profits through newfound environmental ideas.
The programs will be conducted by the Austrian counterparts in coordination with the ECOSWITCH team. For updates, Please contact the ECOSWITCH secretariat at (02) 4031890.
